News Items & Links

I was reading some articles about the Olympics; John Kerry; Zane, an African-American erotica writer; stupid Americans overseas; and why Tylenol thought it needed to be minty-fresh. As if pill companies did not spend zillions of dollars trying to get people to tell their kids that medicine is not candy.

And, since I work in the textbook industry, I never want to hear another college student complain about the price of textbooks. If they can afford beer, they can afford textbooks. (Although the article deals with the UK, I'm sure it's similar here in the U.S.)

I've been watching a lot of the Olympics, but only because nothing better is on.

This quote speaks for itself: "North Korea described President Bush Monday as a tyrannical political imbecile..."

Gawd, I hate pop-up ads that hog the whole computer screen!

I should just post this, since I've been skimming articles for two hours.
